Our Story

Inventure International Group was established in 1999, founded by Arjuna Ranadeva and Prisila Godahewa. Our aim was to be a leading innovative business solution provider, providing quality products and services, both locally and internationally. We soon reached that goal because of the high demand for our services, as well as our marketing acumen, requiring the company to rapidly diversify and expand operations to meet the market’s demands.

Inventure International soon became a magnate in the fields of apparels and accessories, manufacturing, import-export, consumer trade, food, plantation and international trading.

Entering the Ceylon tea trade created a fresh chapter in Inventure’s history and since 2007, we have expanded our operations and have become the main supplier of tea bag filter paper, as well as other packing items to Sri Lankan tea bag exporters. In partnership with the world’s largest specialty paper manufacture, Zhejiang KAN specialty materials company in china, provided Inventure International with the strength and unmatched market stability in the tea trade as a top end supplier.

By 2008, to meet the ever-rising demand for their products, Inventure scaled up their distribution operation and began investing on local ex-stock, enabling our local patrons to experience more timely deliveries and a much quicker service than before. Inventure became the only local tea bag filter paper supplier with fully owned warehouse, dedicated staff and fully-fledged infrastructure to facilitate the demands of our customers.

The Way We Give Back

Corporate Social Responsibility

At Inventure, we believe the most satisfying thing is successfully helping someone in need. With this in mind, in May 2012, we launched KAN CAN CARE, a relief fund with the aims of bringing hope and help to people from disadvantaged backgrounds. The initiative is completely funded by Inventure, with projects identified, organized and implemented on demand by our staff, with the guidance of the directors of the company.

Since its inception, KAN CAN CARE has allocated substantial amount of funds for various social development and welfare projects, with the initiative geared to continue to fund all ethnic and social communities who require our assistance.
